I have never stayed in a hostel before this was my first one ever, I arrived at Zen's and met June from the moment I got their he was always asking if I needed help, and suggested places to go in Busan. Zen's was very clean and modern looking and June looks after the place really well I was really surprised I heard a lot of hostels were dirty, but June and his friend take good care of the place. The atmosphere with the other backpackers was friendly and sharing experiences and hints on how to get here and there.
What made my stay their memorable was Junes service I got sick and he snapped into action he took me to the doctors offered medicine and checked on my, he was so caring it was like a home a way from home, I would recommend staying there for anyone.

Newly opened Zen Backpackers provides not only with accomodations but funs like fortune telling and hand therapy too in busan. Experience and have fun in a different type of mysterious oriental philosphy.

if you're in busan (pusan) the best hostel to stay at is zen backpacker hostel. so i've been traveling around korea for the last three weeks - been to seoul, chuncheon, sokcho, samcheok, gyeongju, masan - and this is the best hostel for the 20-30,000 won price range. the five other travelers who i've met here all agree. it's only been in operation for the last couple months but it's going to be overbooked as soon as lonely planet publishes the next korea book.the website in this rare instance actually doesn't do it justice. www.zenbackpacker.com. the owner speaks very good english and this business is his passion. he likes to hang out with and help travelers learn about pusan/korea, something i've never heard of before. super clean, great location, amazing vibe, skype-ready computer, an amazing view from the helicopter pad 4 floors above. i can't think of more you could ask for. ok, he also a fortune-teller.(if this seems like i'm over-hyping this place, maybe its because i'm a marketer and i come across that way. trust me, though, this place sets a new standard for hostels. he could seriously charge double.)
